Since I started exploring the world of electronics I have been fascinated by the beauty of the printed circuitboard. It’s probably the most common form of electronics and a modern household can have hundreds of PCB’s all silently making our world work. They were never meant to be seen but I find their visual quality fascinating.

I started out with macro photography,

then drawing,

and finally made a welded steel version.

In the second year I continued my work on pcb’s and started experimenting with different materials. My main focus was to draw the attention away from the individual components and focus on the landscape qualities of the pcb.
